Front Desk and Back Office Facilities

At the centre of Welcome 21st is the booking chart. This provides a visual representation of arrivals, departures, stay-ons, future and historical bookings. With a couple of clicks of the mouse you can access booking details, customer information and invoices. Your hotel inventory is there, instantly, when you need it.

There are two booking chart views available, both clearly showing available rooms, room types, occupancy statistics and daily notes. The ‘Density Chart’ displays availability by room type, allowing you to quickly asses the requirements of your guest.

Reporting and Ledger Accounting

Welcome 21st also offers a set of core reports, allowing the discerning hotelier to report and forecast on a key number of areas including sources of business, top customers, room types and packages. Key performance indicators can be analysed too, with the ability to report on the number of bookings and the resulting revenue brought in by each member of reception staff.

The Welcome 21st Ledger module allows you to create company accounts which room invoices can be posted to at the end of corporate stays. Print debtors lists, send statements and manage payments and their corresponding invoices all from one easy-to-use application.

The Ledger module can also be linked directly to the online booking module, allowing corporate clients to place bookings through your website via their own private login and selection of rates.

Sales and Marketing

All guest records are retained forever, detailing their number of previous visits, year to date spend, source of referral, guest type and the date of your last correspondence with them. The latter leads us onto Welcome’s comprehensive marketing tool, which allows you to draw up a list of customers based on specific search criteria. For example, if you wish to view all guests that found you via Google, stayed for pleasure and have spent over £500, Welcome 21st provides you with a list in a matter of seconds. Printed mail shots can then be produced directly from the system or the customer list exported to a CSV file which can be passed on to a marketing agency or uploaded into an email marketing application.

Easy, Powerful Rate Management

Now, more than ever, hotels are committing a great deal of time to rate management to ensure they remain competitive and can react quickly to ever-changing market conditions.

The Welcome Rate Manager allows hotels to quickly apply rate overrides and package closeouts on specific dates with a few clicks of the mouse. Multiple rate changes and overrides can be set, based on rooms sold and lead time.  Please click here for a demonstration.

Online Booking

With the addition of the Welcome Online Booking Module, visitors to your hotel website can check availability and make bookings in a matter of minutes, saving you time and the expense associated with online travel agencies. With internet users becoming more savvy by the day, it is crucial you offer them the ability to book online after they've hunted your website down looking for the best rate. Channel Management

Welcome 21st is fully compatible with the Welcome Connect Channel Manager. This provides the automated transfer of rates and availability to third party agency websites such as Booking.com. Any bookings made via the agency website are automatically transferred to your Welcome reservation chart and you have full control over exactly which rooms and rates each agency receives. You can even set lead times to direct only late availability to the higher-commission channels. (more)
