Interface to Third Party Hotel Systems

At Welcome we understand the importance of a fully integrated hotel I.T. system. The benefits include significant time savings for your staff and improved services for your guests.

Over the last 25 years we have developed many interfaces to third party systems and we continue to do so. Below are just a few we can offer:

Telephone switchboards

Our telecoms interfaces cover a broad range of switchboards from the old serial cable interfaces to the more modern IP-based.

All calls made from guest bedrooms are automatically charged to their bill based on charge rates that the hotel can preset for each dialling code. A log of all calls can also be reviewed and is searchable by extension number.

Call logging is also available for our booking system for smaller establishments, Welcome Anywhere.

For certain switchboards including Samsung, Mitel and Tiger, we can also offer a bi-directional link which, along with the above, will also allow the setting of wakeup calls from the Welcome 21st PMS booking system. Further functionality includes the automatic barring/unbarring of lines upon check out/in. Please contact us to check compatibility with your switchboard.

Room TV systems

 

The Welcome room TV link allows your room TV system to interface with the Welcome 21st PMS so that guests can watch pay-per-view TV and have their charges automatically posted to their bill.

We can supply links to Quadriga, Nokia Guestlink, VDA, Otrum and Granada.

 

 

 

 

Sage Accounts

The Welcome 21st PMS is compatible with Sage Accounts software. It can output sales and receipt information to predefined nominal codes on either a daily or weekly basis.

The link can also distinguish between different receipt types, for example reception, deposits and ledger transactions.

 

Door locking systems

Card-based door locking systems are becoming commonplace in UK hotels. Our interfaces to door lock systems enable quick and accurate creation of guest door cards, directly from your daily arrivals lists.

The Welcome 21st PMS booking system is compatible with systems from Cisa, Vingcard and Onity.
