Welcome to the Blog!

A website without a blog is a rare sight these days and without wishing to jump on the social networking bandwagon, we're happy to announce the launch of our own! 

Social networking has exploded in popularity over the last couple of years with MySpace, Facebook and Twitter being the most prominent success stories.  Indeed, at Welcome you can follow us on Twitter for up to the minute news and thoughts on the industry.  We've recognised the importance of opening up marketing channels for increased distribution of our brand and we encourage our customers to do the same.  Aside from being a platform on which to promote products and services, these social outlets are a fantastic way to encourage discussion on current topics.  Indeed, we all have plenty to ponder at the moment!

So what can you expect from the Welcome Blog?  Well, we take part in an industry which never fails to fascinate us in both its diversity and its convergence with other industries.  I certainly don't wish to type the 'R' word onto this page as I'm sure you're all sick of hearing it, but the hospitality industry is - like manufacturing and commerce - one of the key sectors that can help get us out of this mess and kickstart the faltering economy.
