At Welcome, we make a point of listening to our customers and one request we have heard regularly is for the addition of an automated online backup service.  We are delighted to announce that this will be available from 21/07/08.

The service requires no effort on the hotelier’s part, but provides the ultimate in peace of mind.  Every night the system will backup the entire Welcome database automatically to a web server, ensuring we have a rolling 7-day backup of your data.  The server itself is a fully dedicated unit for our customers, ensuring we can provide the best possible uninterrupted service.  Furthermore, it contains two hard drives, providing a back up of a back up!

The service will also cater for our EPOS customers, ensuring your entire stock file and till configuration is kept safe.

Online backups will be available from £30 + vat per month, which represents a hugely cost effective backup solution.  No additional hardware is required and no time on site needed to get it installed; all you need is a permanent broadband internet connection. No matter what happens, we’ll make sure your data is safe.
