We are pleased to announce that our Welcome Online Booking Module is now in its 5th year of operating and interest in the system is higher than ever.

The latter half of 2007 saw the 10,000th booking pass through Welcome Online, representing a significant growth in the number of Welcome customers making the most of its integration with their website and in-house booking system. At the time of writing, the total has now surpassed 13,000.

The number of bookings taken year on year since its launch in 2003 has risen dramatically. 2007 saw a total of 5,285 bookings, yet the first two months of 2008 have already seen nearly 2,000 confirmed bookings. This exciting growth gives a projected figure of over 12,000 bookings for this year.

Such volume requires a stable platform on which to perform and Welcome Online has not dissapointed in this area, offering unrivaled uptime in an increasingly competitive market.

Development of the system continues apace with a new corporate login feature and many future additions planned including a link to a 'GDS' for one-click distribution of availability to booking agents.

Welcome Online is now fully compatible with Welcome Secure, allowing hoteliers to capture guest credit card details for manual processing, thus avoiding paying commission to online merchant banks for the priveledge of receiving deposits. With Welcome Secure, credit card details can be stored at the point the booking is made and kept for 30 days after departure.

The Welcome Online module is compatible with both our full PMS system, Welcome 21st and our solution for smaller establishments, Welcome Anywhere Level One.
